The Little Belt mountains are positioned in the central part of Montana about 25 miles East of Great Falls. It is about a 30 miledrive from my house. The little belts contain a wide variety of trails to ride on from gravel roads to single tracks. This is probably where I'll be donig a lot of riding, so I'll be posting a lot of pictures of the area here.
We started out at 3:00 pm on The 14th of August 2004. The day was beautiful and sunny. We went up to the Little Belts and found a forest service road to explore. After about an hour of exploring we found a fork in the road, one of the ways ended in 3 miles, so we decided to take that one and see what was at the end of the road. We ended up being very glad we took this road as there was a few mud puddles in that three miles which made the trip all that more fun. My buddy that I was riding with has a '95 KLR and along with my '04 KLR we had a really great time running through all of the puddles. The trip was 145 miles long and took us 5 hours to complete. I had to stop after one puddle crossing to wring all of the water out of my socks.
